Diva Academy is our Development team, which is aimed at students with a extra passion for dance. That show determination and a pure love for their movement. You don’t have to be the best to be a Diva, this is where u train to become the best version of you.

Diva academy requires learning history and extra knowledge needed to be a dancer

Diva academy is the face of DDF and are given the opportunity to compete at HHI regionals in Whangarei every year including other international and national dance competitions

We have a junior/varsity/adult and Mega Crew.
Sometimes we enter comps and offer solos/duos and trio opportunities.

Diva Academy also perform and support local community events and gigs this helps build self confidence and forward development in performance and stamina.

Diva academy is a family and we are are big on being a team.

We provide pathways and opportunities for our future leaders.

Novice Diva ( new )

This is for those wanting to become a Diva but need growth and are still very new but show passion and determination and are willing to commit to the process of being a Diva. This group needs to commit to a year and will be taken to Battle in The Bay Hastings Term 4. The rest of the year is to help develop their confidence, performance and skills needed to achieve being ready for a competition. Includes performing and busking over the year.
